Hourly canoe, kayak, and rowboat rentals open this great resource to you at an affordable cost. Now, from our location in Artesani Park in Allston/Brighton, you can get out on the river, whether for a picnic lunch or relaxation after a week of work. This nine-mile stretch of river has no current, allowing painless round trips.
Charles River Canoe & Kayak offers several camp programs to accommodate kids of different ages and experience levels. their goal is to generate enthusiasm for canoes and kayaks and to help campers become proficient, confident paddlers.

This well-hidden, friendly Allston neighborhood playground has an interesting, fort-like structure and summer sprinklers for cooling off. The fenced-in play area has two bucket swings and a large wood climbing structure that is geared for older children (and needs a bit of sanding). The play area sits on soft sand.

The Mass Motion Dance Academy has offered quality dance training since 1983. Mass Motion is under the direction of Terri Gordon, a former
member of the Boston Ballet Company and Tanz Forum, the modern dance company of Cologne, Germany. The children's program begins at age two and continues through age 18.
During the summer, the Academy offers dance camps for kids ages five to 11, a teen camp for those aged 12 to 18, as well as Mommy & Me classes for two- and three-year-olds and Tiny Tots classes for those aged three to five.

This small park is directly behind the Legal Seafoods distribution center. It is built on pavement and sand, and is a bit dated, but you'll find two bucket swings, a small wood climbing structure and a tiny slide.

The Smith Playground features climbing structures, swings, slides, and more. The structures are geared for children ages five and older, although scrappy toddlers will enjoy the challenging equipment. Numerous playing fields are also available. Located across from the Harvard University School of Business.
