A lightning quick cab—or a nice slow walk—down JFK St. will get you to this bustling BU hangout. Dollar draft nights (of Natural Ice) are a rare find in Boston, and you'll run into a good crowd here—it's young, it's supple, it's untapped. Come during the day if you're looking for some bar food and a cold one. They leave the TVs on all day and night, so you don't have to miss the Sox game if you choose to take a night out with your buddies. Great Scott sometimes charges a cover when they have a big DJ, in which case the crowds may make it worthwhile to check out one of the many other bars in the neighborhood.
