It's retro from the inside out: the great, 50's style sign greets you from blocks away, and the tiny--but with ample seating--interior is old fashioned and cozy. Yet even though the decor is fantastic, it's the food that really set this place apart. Old fashioned donuts, anyone? These rings of delight are the real deal, and are sinfully scrumptious whether they be cruellars, chocolate, or simple honey dipped. Craving a bigger meal? Not to worry, the wonderful staff here also serves up an entire breakfast menu, replete with homefries and--very, very--filling breakfast sandwiches. A must stop for anyone with a love for the homier days of the 50's. Or for incredible donuts.

Not only are the breakfasts some of the best in the area, the iced coffee is superb. Not exactly for the health conscious, but perfect for lazy Saturday morning breakfasts. Don't wait too long though - I'm pretty sure they're closed by 1:00 pm.
